Joel Kim, President
Joel
Kim is a student at North Hollywood Highly Gifted Magnet High School, and he is passionate about serving his local community through sharing the gift of music. Over the past several years, he has played in several chamber ensembles and has been a prize winner at numerous music competitions. He was selected to participate in the California Orchestra Director’s Association (CODA) All-State Symphonic Orchestra. Most recently, he was selected to participate in the National Youth Orchestra 2 (NYO2), sponsored by Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute. In addition to playing the viola, Joel is active in his church youth group and is the founder and president of his school’s Model United Nations Team. For fun, he enjoys fishing and playing basketball.
Jessica Wong, Director of Communications
Jessica Wong is a student at Granada Hills Charter High School. She started playing piano at age 6 with Mrs. Lynn Nakamura, and is passionate about making and sharing music with others. She’s played in a chamber ensemble with Junior Chamber Music, and has completed level 10 in the Music Teacher’s Association of California (MTAC) Certificate of Merit Program. A prizewinner at numerous piano competitions, Jessica most recently had the honor of playing in a winner’s recital at the famed Carnegie Hall in New York. In addition to playing the piano, she enjoys creating videos and photography.
Madeline Limb, Director of Public Relations
Madeline (Maddy) Limb is a high school student at Rockland Academy. She has been playing violin for 6 years and currently studies with Aimee Kreston. Madeline also participates in the CSUN Youth Philharmonic where she is the second chair first violin, and she and has played in chamber ensembles at the Colburn School and Pasadena Conservatory of Music. Aside from violin, Madeline fences competitively. In her free time she enjoys baking, cooking, and photography.
